The Parish Council's summer playscheme for 6 to 11 year olds ran successfully again in 2017 and will be taking place again this summer during the week 30th July to 3rd August.
There is no charge for children to attend our playscheme, as the whole scheme is subsidised by the Parish Council, and the children are taken care of by qualified personnel. There is plenty to do, with indoor craft activities in the Community Association building and a variety of outdoor activities in the Recreation Ground.
|Parish Play in the Park Scheme
The regular Play in the Park sessions at the Recreation Ground organised by Chelmsford City Council and funded by the Parish Council took place again in the Easter and summer holidays 2017. These were free to participants and we look forward to cooperating with the City Council again for sessions this year.
To reduce the time needed to register children at the start of each Play in the Park session, you can now give register your child's details in advance.
The online form registers your intent to attend specific venues at Play in the Park during summer 2017. Each session has a maximum of 300 spaces. 150 spaces are pre-bookable, with the rest being kept back for registrations on the day.
If you do not sign in to a session you have registered for 30 minutes after the session starts, we will release your place to on-the-day attendees.
The registration deadline for each week of the holiday is midday on Friday the previous week. If you miss this deadline you can just turn up at a session and give your details at the desk.
Please note, you will have to complete one form per child.
