Manned refuse vehicle visits 2008
The manned refuse vehicle will visit Great Baddow on the following dates:
Saturday 19th January 2008
Saturday 8th March 2008.
Timings are:
8.00 am to 9.30 am Meadgate shops
10.00 am to 11.00 am Gardeners.
After these dates, timings for the rest of the year have been amended:
Saturday June 28th 2008
Saturday October 4th 2008.
Timings are:
8.55 am to 9.55 am Meadgate shops
10.05 am to 11.05 am Gardeners
Saturday November 8th 2008
10.05 am to 11.05 am Meadgate shops
11.15 am to 12.15 pm Gardeners
From April 2008, please note that there have been changes to what will be accepted by the vehicles. The only items which will now be accepted are recyclable items and large items such as furniture, fridges/freezer, TVs and computer screens. Therefore you will be able to dispose of
• Plastic bottles
• Glass jars and bottles
• Food and drink cans and tins
• Paper and cardboard
• Textiles
• Furniture
• Fridges, freezers, TVs and computer screens.
You will not be able to dispose of any items normally placed in the black or brown bins, such as bagged waste or garden waste.
